Queen's Lamb
The Clearfield County Livestock Committee asked if the Fair Queen Committee would be interested in a joint project with 4H/FFA to raise a market lamb to be sold at the Junior Livestock Sale on the last day of the fair. Since that time, seven lambs have been raised and auctioned to benefit the two organizations. Proceeds of the sale of the lamb are equally split between the 4H/FFA Scholarship Fund and the Queens for Kids Program (benefits Children's Miracle Network).

Morgan's Miracle
At the 2002 Clearfield County Fair 4H/FFA Junior Livestock Sale, Miracle was purchased by William Williams, Director of Chidboy Funeral Home of Curwensville. Proceeds from his sale were equally shared by the Fair Queen Charity, Queens for Kids and the 4H/FFA Scholarship Fund. Mr. Williams then donated the lamb back to the Livestock Committee to be resold with proceeds from the second sale being given to benefit the Tom Henry Family of R.D. Clearfield who’s daughter, Vickie, was seriously ill and hospitalized. The auction continued, and the second buyer, Joe Wriglesworth, of Hepburnia, donated the lamb back to Mr. Kerr for him to continue raising the lamb for showing at the PA Farm Show. Morgan’s Miracle, the 139 pound Clearfield County Fair Champion Suffolk Cross lamb who’s infamous journey began less than a year ago, did not make it to the auction block at the 2003 PA Farm Show, but his career as a show animal was not in vain. Handling the lamb for the judging was M.P. Kerr of Clover Hill, Clearfield who raised the lamb as a 4H/FFA project.
In order to proceed to the auction block this year, an animal had to place in the top ten of its class. Miracle, however, placed fifteenth and was ineligible to be auctioned, and according to the regulations, had to be sold for his current market value. Miracle was sold at the Farm Show.
