Pancake and Sausage Breakfast

The Queen Court and Committee, along with Joe Wrigglesworth, are hosting an all you can eat pancake and sausage breakfast to support the Children's Miracle Network through the Queens For Kids Program Saturday, November 14th from 6am to 11am at the Expo I building. The cost is just $5 for an adult and $3 for those 10 and under. You will have your choice of regular or buckwheat pancakes as well as sausage or liverwurst.

Reithoffer Shows Return to Clearfield for the 2010 Clearfield County Fair

Reithoffer ShowsOne of the greatest midways in Clearfield County Fair history is returning beginning with the 2010 Fair. Reithoffer Shows made their debut in Clearfield in 1980. Their last apperance was in 1992. Reithoffer Shows is the innovator when it comes to spectacular rides and attractions.

Reithoffer Shows will bring a dazzingling array of things you have never seen in this area. Rides such as the Super Himalya, Freak Out, and Indy 500 are just a few that the Fair & Park Board is requesting be brought to the 2010 Fair. The Board will meet with Reithoffer at the annual Pennsylvania State Association of County Fairs Convention in January and submit a requested list of rides to be brought to the 2010 Fair. “Reithoffer is giving us such a great opportunity, that we never had in the past, to bring the best, most spectacular rides out there to our fair. This will definitely contribute to making our 150th Fair memorable”, stated Greg Hallstrom, Fair Manager.

Reithoffer Shows travels April through November up and down the eastern seaboard and as far west as Missouri playing the nations best fairs and festivals. Reithoffer Shows has a long history, beginning in 1896, of bringing quality, variety, and one of a kind rides to fairs and festivals. 150th Clearfield County Fair

The 150th Clearfield County Fair will take place from August 2nd, 2010 through August 7th, 2010. The Clearfield County Fair and Park Board is now working on entertainment for the 150th Clearfield County Fair. We are also preparing for the annual state convention in Hershey where we will be attending seminars and round tables to learn different ways to better the fair and the community.

High School Musical Show Cancelled - Performers Unable to Arrive

The Clearfield County Fair regrettably announces the High School Musical show scheduled for 10am Thursday was cancelled due to the performers being delayed and unable to arrive today. The Fair felt the best thing to do was to cancel the show and advise fairgoers as they arrived at the gates that the show was cancelled.

The Fair is greatly upset that they were unable to present the High School Musical show as scheduled. The Fair strives to obtain quality entertaining shows for the children of our community. Refunds were provided to fairgoers who arrived early for the HSM show, prior to the Fair receiving word that the HSM performers would not be arriving.

The Fair sincerely apologizes for the cancellation of the show. Fairgoers are invited to enjoy many of the other activities being held today such as Harness Racing at Noon, Fearless Flores

Circus and Thrill Show; Animal Racing and Petting Zoo; Live Interactive Stingray Show; Woodcarver; and the Dance Company and Marie Levin will be on the David H. Litz Stage this evening. The Full Pull Productions Truck and Tractor Pull will be held this evening at 7pm. Tickets are available for the Truck Pull by calling 765-1749 or stopping at the ticket office located in front of the grandstand.
