The Beach Boys first formed as a group in 1961, but it wasn't until 1966, that the group emerged as America's pre-eminent pop group. They were widely considered the only musical act able to challenge the incredible international success of the Beatles. In 2006, the major surviving Beach Boys (Brian Wilson, Mike Love, Al Jardine, Bruce Johnston, and David Marks) reunited for a celebration of the 40th anniversary Pet Sounds and the double-platinum certification of their greatest hits compilation, Sounds of Summer: The Very Best of the Beach Boys. ZZ Top began as a rough-and-ready blues-rock power trio from Texas that became a huge mid-'70s concert attraction. Beginning with the release of First Album in 1970, ZZ Top has toured constantly; building a national following that has made all the band's albums gold or platinum. Hit songs include “Tush"; "Gimme All Your Lovin'"; "Sharp Dressed Man", and "Legs" which introduced a pulsating synthesizer beat into ZZ Top's crunching blues-rock riffs. The trend continued with the album Afterburner, which contained such video hits as "Rough Boy", "Sleeping Bag", "Velcro Fly" and “Stages". ZZ Top is slated for Wed, Aug 4th. Reserved Track Seating is $54 and Reserved Grandstand/Bleacher Seating is $52.
Bret Michaels, as the frontman for Poison for the last two decades, has sold 25 million records, He has set his musical sights beyond Poison and released a debut solo album “Songs of Life” in 2003, “Freedom of Sound” in 2005, and “Rock My World” in 2008, which features a collection of solo songs that have been featured on the “Rock of Love” television series. Reserved Track Seating is $34 and Reserved Grandstand/Bleacher Seating is $32. Bret Michaels will take the stage on Friday, Aug 6th.
Over the last decade, Jeff Dunham and his comedic sidekicks, Walter the grumpy retiree; the beer-swilling NASCAR loving redneck Bubba J; the funny and manic Peanut; Jose Jalapeno, the spicy pepper from south of the border; and the bumbling skeletal Achmed the Dead Terrorist, have risen from the standup comedy clubs to charm the world and become an unprecedented entertainment phenomenon.
