6th Annual Music Fund Fest - April 19, 2008
The 6th annual Music Fund Fest was the most successful single fundraiser event to date. Over 600 people enjoyed the music of One Lane Bridge, The Moore Brothers, Young Gunz, Ozone Rangers and Smokin Joe & the Wild Horse Band. Extra funds were raised when one individual volunteered to have his beard cut off if the audience donated so much money. This was followed by another gentlemen offering to have his ponytail cut off by the Fair Queen Dani Maines. Those two events produced an extra $405.00. Throughout the evening several 50/50 drawings were conducted along with numerous raffles on over one hundred items ranging from gift certificates to a 37" Plazma TV and a $1000.00 diamond ring. All guests were treated to snacks of pizza, hot dogs, wings, sandwiches, chips, pretzels, cakes and various forms of refreshments.
