4H/FFA Livestock Sale
The 27th Annual Junior Livestock & Poultry Sale will be taking place on Saturday, August 7, 2010 at 9:00 a.m. in the Livestock Arena next to the Cattle Barns.
4-H & FFA members from across Clearfield County have been working year-round producing top quality project animals. The livestock sale marks the final step in their journey with their project animals. This is the time when the animals that the 4-H & FFA members have cared for all year are sold to the public.
So what do you get out of purchasing an animal from the sale?
• You help a youngster who has worked hard on his/her project.
• You say "Thank You" to parents of members who do business with you.
• You are publicly recognized by the Livestock Sale Committee through newspaper advertising, radio coverage, and word of mouth.
• 4-H & FFA members, parents, relatives, and friends support those individuals who support them.
• You obtain high quality meat for your freezer.
Six different beef steer, dairy steer, swine, lambs, goats, and meat pen rabbits will be sold live. A variety of poultry, including chickens, capons, Cornish hens, and turkeys, as well as blocks of cheese will be sold processed and ready for your freezer.

Donations to the 2010 Clearfield County 4-H & FFA Livestock Sale Scholarship Fund are greatly appreciated and gladly accepted. We are expecting another good selection of quality livestock and poultry for the 2010 sale, so please bring your family and friends and join us for another exciting sale. There will be plenty of hot coffee, cold drinks, and snacks on hand for your enjoyment!!!
