Queen for a Day
How would you like to be a Queen for a day? Have you ever wondered what it takes to become a Fair Queen? If you are a young lady, ages 13 to 20 years old, you can find out what it takes to be the Fair Queen by registering for our "Queen for a Day" event to be held during the 2010 Clearfield County Fair.
The event features a Fashion Show, tips on hair and makeup, information on agriculture, manners and etiquette. This is a great way for young girls to realize their own potential, to learn more on agriculture and the Fair Queen Program.
All participants will receive a gift bags - items are from Dubois Business College, Susie's Fashions, Fashion Bug, Prom Closet, JC Penneys Styling Salon, Georgia's Main Street Salon, Jessic'as Sense of Style, Merle Norman Cosmetic Studio, Mary Kay Cosmetics, and Penn State 4H Cooperative Extension.
Eleven year old singing sensation Eva Blankenhorn will perform at the event. You have to hear her to believe how truly gifted she is as a singer.
"Queen for a Day" will take place on Thursday, August 5th starting at noon in the Grove, but there is a limit of 50 entrants to the event. Click the queen link above, then choose Queen for a Day for the registration form. It can be mailed, dropped off, or faxed to 765-2186.
