A family fun weekend awaits all at the Clearfield Fair Grounds on Sept. 10 and 11. The weekend is packed with the Big Rig Show & Expo, Country Jammin in the Valley, and motorcycle rodeo sponsored by the local ABATE chapter. Food and refreshment vendors on site. Admission is Free!The Big Rig Show & Expo will feature a show of various classes of Big Rigs, Tri-Axles; Tractor/Trailer Combos; and more. A sight to see is the Light the Night Parade held on Friday night at 8 p.m. All registration fees for the parade are donated to the Children’s Miracle Network. Saturday highlights include the Make-A-Wish Convoy (registration fees benefit Make-A-Wish Foundation); Judging of Show Trucks; Trucker Games; performances by Joey Holiday; and the Award Ceremony.
Saturday night features Full Pull Productions Truck and Tractor Pull at 7 p.m. with “Run What Ya Brung 4×4”; “Street Diesel (2.6)”; Pro Street Gas 4×4; and the ever popular Street Semi Trucks. Tickets for the Truck and Tractor Pull are only $12 for Adults and $6 for children ages 8 and younger. All tickets ordered by credit card or check will be held at the ticket office window at the Fairgrounds and be made available for pickup on Sept. 10. Tickets can be ordered online at www.clearfieldcountyfair.com; by calling 814-765-4629; or by stopping in the Fair Office.

Awards will be given in each class as well as eight special categories.
Country Jammin’ in the Valley features Independent Artists from all over the North East. Artists scheduled to perform include Smokin’ Joe and Wild Horse Band; Jerry Schickling; Distillery Dave; Joe Quick Band; Paul Shimmel; Nathalie; Lorne Nelson; Brett Allen Morgan; Heather Olson; and Brinn Black. This fun filled 2 day event has become a reality, that started 5 year ago on a trip back from Nashville, Smokin’ Joe had a dream that we could put on an event to showcase Independent artists and give them a chance to perform in front of an audience from all over the north eastern part of the country.

Clearfield County Fair Recognized by State
The Clearfield County Fair received a certificate of Thanks and Recognition in Honor of the 150th Anniversary of the Clearfield County Fair from the Department of Agriculture Secretary, Russell C. Redding.
